I was brought on by Overtime initially to help identify trending moments in sports and its intersection with the worlds of music, fashion, and entertainment for their mobile app. Aside from programming viral moments before they went viral, I crafted accompanying copy and edited corresponding video.
All of the content I was responsible for was incorporated into daily fantasy games that allowed users to engage with the biggest sporting events night-to-night.
Prior to the app being converted towards Overtime’s OTE efforts it had achieved over 100,000 downloads and was regularly among the top-10 sports apps on Apple’s app store.

Now my primary role is contributing to and helping guide the editorial direction of Overtime’s Even The Odds newsletter, which highlights the stories behind the day’s most popular betting lines. The project has amassed 25,000 subscribers to date — when I was first brought on we had about 3,000.
