When I was first brought on by Input (RIP), a Bustle Digital Group property that focused on the intersection of tech and culture, my primary role was guiding the site’s Good Finds series, which involved working with our brand partners to build out commerce posts that offered nuanced reviews on a number of products in the video game space and broader tech landscape.

After directing our readership (an audience that consisted of 100,000s of unique monthly visitors) to affiliate sites through Good Finds I then was moved into a news writing role.
My duties included:
- Covering developments in sports through a tech lens
- Reviewing sneakers as part of our service journalism efforts
- Responding to breaking news from a perspective that went beyond aggregation
- Editing video in Adobe Premiere to create multimedia content that mined the depths of internet depravity
- Pitching and reporting investigative features (I turned this one around in 24 hours), essays, and analyses of viral social trends
- Monitoring the crypto/web3 landscape as the site’s resident skeptic
