I have been working with Franchise since the end of 2019 as a creative swiss-army knife.

Ahead of the 2020 NBA All-Star game in Chicago, we partnered with the NBA to curate an art exhibit dubbed “Momentum,” that explored some of the most iconic shoes and jerseys used in the exhibition game’s history. I wrote all the copy that accompanied these pieces and guided visitors through the experience. The exhibit was written up by HYPEBEAST.

I’ve also written feature articles for the brand’s physical magazine. My two pieces covered the history of Ghanian movie poster art through an interview with the minds behind Deadly Prey Gallery, and explored the NBA’s global influence through a recap of the NBPA’s trip to Italy, featuring a number of rising players like Immanuel Quickley.

Currently I’ve just finished producing, researching, and recording audio for a pilot podcast episode that dives into the history of the NBA Live 2003 soundtrack (the only video game soundtrack to ever achieve platinum status) that is in the process of being shopped around to a number of outlets. In lieu of including my voiceovers ahead of the project’s release, I’ll drop my favorite song from the album:
